The penultimate post!

In my role at work I work closely with external stakeholders. I have spoken to many on the phone and emailed them prior to meeting them . Our phone and email exchanges have been friendly and productive.

When I met them in person, it is like taking the relationship to another level. They feel much more connected to me and like they now know me. Following meeting me in person the emails change slightly and are just that little bit more familiar. I like that. I like that meeting someone face to face and making a connection in person, still makes for a meaningful relationship despite the fact that we could actually conduct business without setting eyes on each other.
